Ben, Azmat, and Robbie here; co-founders of Zymbly (YC W26).

Zymbly doubles productivity for aircraft technicians with AI. Our agents automate troubleshooting and paperwork. Technicians get to spend their time doing the work they actually signed up for; maintaining planes.

The Problem:

Airlines have a maintenance capacity bottleneck. It is holding back growth.

In North America alone, there is a shortage of 43,000 technicians forecast by 2027 (25% shortfall). Boeing estimates 710,000 new technicians are needed in the next 20 years.

Technicians are their most precious resource. Yet, technicians lose half their day to:

  1. Troubleshooting: finding the information needed to fix issues and replace parts can take hours as the information is spread across tens of thousands of pages.
  2. Paperwork: Any work that is performed needs to be rigorously documented according to pre-defined standards

We hear “It takes me 5 mins to change a bulb, but 45 minutes to do the paperwork” and similar sentiments every day.

How Zymbly Solves It:

Zymbly’s voice-first agents surface answers across manuals, local procedures and historical defects. Zymbly surfaces the right solutions and orders the correct parts. It turns voice notes into compliant documentation and audits actions to ensure technicians haven't missed critical steps.

Who We Serve:

Our customers are maintenance teams either inside airlines, or working for airlines.

Our users are the technicians who keep your planes safe. They prefer to spend their time working on the aircraft, not on admin.

We’ve developed our platform through a design partnership with a major global airline.
