What is Rubbrband?

Rubbrband helps you turn a script into a film.

You control dialogue, sound, and shots.

Heres how it works:

Upload a script. Lock in characters and costumes. Record or upload voices for each character. Generate OST. Export an MP4.

Who are we?

We’re college roommates from UC Berkeley!

• Jeremy — worked on ML + audio at CNMAT.
• Darren — ML researcher (MRI focus) at Berkeley.
• Abhinav — RL/ML at BAIR.

The problem

It’s currently hard to make long-form movies using AI tools.

Filmmakers need one place where the world, the shots, the voices, and the music stay in sync.

Our solution

A tool that keeps context on a film and lets you generate inside it.

• Script breakdown: characters, scenes, dialogue.
• Character design: bring your art or generate; lock a base look + costumes.
• Voices: record or clone. One default voice per character.
• Shot list: type, lens, angle, move.
• OST: generate cues per scene; loopable; stems when supported.
• Final movie: assemble into a timed cut with dialogue + music. Export MP4
