About the Role

At Soff, engineers own tasks end-to-end. Every engineer is expected to be a part-time product manager. We're looking for people who want to grow and deeply care about their work!

What We're Looking For

Full ownership — own and grow!
Strong generalist — you're excellent on either the front end or back end, and comfortable working across the stack
Front-end expertise with TypeScript and Next.js, including performance, UX, and clean architecture
Back-end experience with TypeScript, building reliable, scalable systems
Product-minded engineer who understands tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scale
You've overcome hardships in life.

What You'll Do

Build and own entire parts of the product
Design, implement, and ship features end-to-end — from UI to APIs to infrastructure
Help optimize and scale agents, improving latency, reliability, and cost
Ship to prod every day, multiple times, and iterate based on real user feedback
