Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives that help us deliver cutting-edge capabilities and experiences for automated map production and validation.
• Create designs for efficiently interacting with detailed 3D geospatial vector data, and managing large scale datasets.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product management, engineering, and other key stakeholders to identify requirements, make plans, build and iterate on designs.
• Plan and conduct user research to inspire and validate designs.
• Develop personas, user journeys, wireframes and visual designs.
• Own and maintain design systems.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience with product design for web based applications or similar experience.
• Proficiency with creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes within Figma.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in dynamic, cross-functional teams.
• Experience in conducting user research including interviewing, contextual inquiry, usability testing, etc.
• An online portfolio that demonstrates your design abilities, how you think, and a strong understanding of stakeholder objectives.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interaction design or related field.
• Experience designing workflows for 3D, ideally geospatial or CAD applications.
• Thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving challenges and a broad range of responsibilities.
