Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales (Healthcare SaaS) to lead and scale our sales organization. This role will be responsible for building and executing LunaJoy’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and developing a high-performing sales team aligned with our mission of supporting the mental health journey of one million women.
As part of the LunaJoy leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy with purpose-driven innovation, unwavering compassion, and transformative care. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership—someone who can build scalable sales processes while directly supporting deal execution and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with LunaJoy’s growth objectives and mission.
- Own revenue targets, pipeline performance, and sales forecasting across all sales channels.
- Identify new market opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies within the healthcare and mental health SaaS space.
- Drive predictable, scalable revenue growth through data-driven decision-making.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric selling.
- Develop sales playbooks, best practices, and standardized methodologies to support consistent execution.
- Partner with Sales Operations and Enablement to ensure the team has the tools and resources needed to succeed.
Sales Operations & Process Optimization
- Design and optimize end-to-end sales processes, from lead generation through close and handoff to Customer Success.
- Ensure alignment between Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Oversee CRM strategy and data integrity (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Go High Level, or similar tools).
- Implement performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Forecasting & Strategic Planning
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning in partnership with Finance and Leadership.
- Analyze trends, conversion rates, and sales cycle performance to continuously refine strategy.
- Contribute to annual and quarterly business planning and budgeting processes.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Act as a senior representative of LunaJoy in key customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product, marketing, and service improvements.
- Stay current on healthcare regulations, industry trends, and competitive landscape within digital health and SaaS markets
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with at least 3–5 years in Healthcare SaaS, digital health, or health technology.
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales models, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue operations (RevOps).
- Experience with CRM and sales technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Go High Level, or similar).
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills; ability to translate metrics into actionable strategy.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven, remote-first environment.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or women’s health services.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, compliance considerations in sales and marketing).
- Experience implementing sales automation and enablement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, Gong).
- Background in scaling startups or high-growth healthcare organizations.
- Understanding of sales compensation design and incentive programs.
- Experience working with subscription-based or value-based care revenue models.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation Range: $1,500 - $2,000 USD per month based on the individual's location, experience, qualifications, and applicable federal and state minimum wage requirements.

Interview Process
- HR Screen:
The first phase involves an initial screening with HR. During this stage, we will discuss your experience, skills, and alignment with LunaJoy’s values and culture. This step ensures that you meet the basic qualifications and provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the company and the role.
- Second Phase with Hiring Manager:
Candidates who pass the HR screen will move on to an interview with the Hiring Manager. In this phase, we dive deeper into your technical abilities, role-specific competencies, and how you approach challenges. The Hiring Manager will assess your fit within the team and your ability to contribute to LunaJoy’s mission.
- Offer Stage:
After the second phase, successful candidates will move to the offer stage. We will present a formal offer that includes compensation, benefits, and any additional details about the role. This is also your opportunity to ask any final questions before making your decision.
- Onboarding & Training:
Once the offer is accepted, the onboarding process begins. You will be guided through setting up tools, learning about LunaJoy’s systems and workflows, and engaging in any role-specific training. This phase ensures a smooth transition into your new role, setting you up for success from day one.
